Voimasuo was brought to life within the concrete apartment walls of Kajekammio in Tampere, driven by the vital energy of mystical swamp landscapes met in dreams. The album reflects a deep need to build a personal sanctuary and sound environment, a shield where no outside force could dictate the creative choices. Building on the rhythmic turn of Avarrus, it carries clear beats and drum patterns woven into darker, denser textures. The album deals heavily with transformation and the process of ice melting into water, yet the gates remain standing in their own form despite the arrival of spring.
